Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hey kids, I know this is late, but Christmas was hectic and now that I have some free time, I thought we'd catch up. Well let's see, where to start...I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas. Honey and I had a wonderful time. Santa brought me lots of new loot! We got a new Washer and Dryer, $$$, some clothes, DVDs, and ohhh I got the Marvel Encyclopedia. It's a book that houses illustrations and background info on virtually every Marvel comics character ever drawn. Very nice! We ate a lot, laughed a lot, and I played a lot of Wii. Speaking of that, I just finished Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. After 65 hours, (over 2 and a half weeks) it is done. My thoughts and impressions...Well I think it's best left to a top ten all time list for me.

Here we go, my top-ten all time favorite video games: (subject to change when new ones are played, or I realize I've forgotten one, or on a whim/mood!)

10.) Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
9.) Resident Evil 4
8.) Super Mario Kart Double Dash
7.) Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
6.) Star Wars: Battlefront 2
5.) Rome: Total War
4.) Medieval 2:Total War
3.) 007: Goldeneye
2.) Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
1.) Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess

There you have it, Twi-Pri at the top, it truly is astounding. Stay tuned soon for some more news, top tens, etc... Hope your Christmas was blessed and wonderful!!

Hey! Listen...

Hello kids, well the Wii is going strong. Honey is addicted to Wii golf, and I, having finished Marvel:Ultimate Alliance, have now moved on to tackling Zelda. I'm happy to report that after 25 hours into gameplay, I'm only at the 3rd dungeon. Yes, the game is T-H-A-T B-I-G. Oh, but it is wonderful. Just got done wrapping presents, and now all there is left to do is wait until next week. We'll chat again soon!

Wiisa happy!

Hey kids, it's late and I'm tired. Honey-wife waited in the video game store 2 days in a row so as to not miss the shipment of Nintendo Wii that was being delivered. Her patience paid off as she picked it up for me on Friday. (she used my credit card, so Merry Christmas to me!) Kids, after 2 years, the wait was well worth it. It's addictive as all get out. Marvel:Ultimate Alliance has vaulted to my top 10 all time list as has Zelda: Twlight Princess. Well I'm gushing so I'll stop.

-In other news, God is good and great and benevolent for so many reasons. However, I'd like to take this time to thank Him for Gisele, Adriana, and Alessandra. The Vicky's Fashion show this past Tuesday was glorious! That's all I have for now kids, my mind is fried from a massive gaming weekend. Until next time...

-P.S. Honey and I had our 6 month wedding anniversary today!

-Also Merry Christmas to Mr. Hoffmann I hope the present you got is keeping you pleasantly busy, yet out of trouble with girlfriend;)

Goodnight Now.

Loo Loo Loo...Loo Loo...

Well all, "Christmas Time is Here..." and watching the Charlie Brown special the other night was wonderful as always. It is great to see that ABC has still included what is arguably the best Christmas special ever made, even after 42 years. The fact that Linus explains the true meaning of the holiday is even more gratifying because at least Americans get the message from somewhere that isn't protested every December. I've been extremely busy at work and as such haven't had the time to post as regularly as I'd like. I did some Christmas shopping over the weekend, and am nearly done. (Thank God) Braving the traffic in Amherst in December is a feat in and of itself.

-In other news, I've been formerly challenged by a dear friend of mine to a 007: Goldeneye marathon. Should be interesting to dust off the N64. I haven't played in a couple of years, but I think I still have a few bullets left in the ol' gun (pun intended). Of course we're doing "License to Kill" mode and no auto-aim, no radar. I'll report on the results next weekend. Also, congrats to UCLA for showing some defensive fortitude yesterday and deflating Pete Carroll's amazingly ballooned sense of arrogance. It was joyous to watch his face after the game.
