Hi kids. Apparently there is a global phenomenon known as Numa Numa. I was totally unaware... Don't believe me?

Well check him out (the original)
Or them...
Or them...
Or this guy...
this poor ritalin dependent kid...
and this lonely, lonely guy

WOW. Though now that I think about it there are a few people I know that I can see actually doing a ridiculously funny version of that. (Slim?)

what's that? I thought I heard someth-AAHHHH.

Hey kids, so sorry I've been away for a while. It's been a steady stream of work, golf, and well Resident Evil 4. I must say I think it is the best looking game for the 'cube period, and well it is also a blast to play. The Spanish-chanting 'undead' are rather unnerving, but there isn't anything a shotgun shell to the cranium can't silence. We're currently planning "Garage Franzaganza" that's right, Honey and I are going to orchestrate a garage/sale/festival/extravanganza, hence, "Garage Franzaganza". It should be toward late August so stay tuned here for details.

-In other news, I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Man's Chest. Many know of my love for the first film, in fact it is on my profile as one of my all time favorites. This chapter was excellent as well. Beautiful CGI, good story, and Johnny Depp once again at his Scallywag finest. I still think the first film was better, but this is a perfect middle chapter.

Forza Italia!!

As you all may know by now, my beloved Azzurri took home the World Cup title yesterday in penalty kicks. It was not a pretty win, but a win nonetheless and I could not have been happier!! All of Italy erupted in celebration, as did my friend's apartment, when Grosso's final kick went past France's keeper Barthez. Oh and for all of the announcers and commentators globally that were kissing Zidane's @$$ all day, I say a hearty, "HA HA" instead of being the paradigm of his sport, "Zizou" turned out to be nothing more than a thug. So for the next four years at least "Forza Italia!" South Africa, we'll see you in 2010.

-In other news congrats to the Garveys on welcoming their newest addition this past weekend. Little Maeve is such a cute peanut!!

Happy Independence Day America!

Happy 4th of July kids! What a great day to celebrate the U.S.A.'s 230th birthday!! Nice and sunny with a slight breeze. We had a wonderful cookout today, played some softball and then I settled in to watch one hell of a soccer match between Italia and Germany. I am thrilled to report that Italia has advanced to the final game by way of two goals scored in the final minute of double overtime!! This was also one of the best officiated games, if not the best officiated game, of the tournament. There were only 2 yellow cards handed out the whole game, and indeed it was refreshing seeing a referee allowing the game to be decided by the players. Congrats Azzurri, and good luck on Sunday at the final. Forza Italia!!

-In other news, I'm in the middle of a book entitled: Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell. It is fantastic so far, so I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something new to delve into.

Wesa Home and Ilsa loves it here in America!

Kids, I finally have time to write to you. I know it has been dreadfully long, but Honey and I are home from Italia and it was a most incredible trip. Pictures to come soon. In other news, my beloved car the "Queen Mary" died while we were gone, thus I had to say goodbye, sell her to the mechanic for a paltry sum, and go shopping for a new vehicle. As many of you know, I've had my heart set on getting a Pony, a GT in fact. However, the powers that be at the dealership crushed my dream by making the payments more than my kidneys are worth on the black market. Therefore, I've had to find a new dream. It is with great joy that I can report, I have found her, and she's a beautiful Swede. I couldn't be happier, she's fast, nimble, comfortable, luxurious, responsive, safe for all seasons, and I love everything about her!! So my friends, look above to see my new baby, Ilsa. Say hello and be polite, she's quite fond of her new home here in the U.S.A.

-Let it also be known that I saw the highly touted Superman: Returns and loved every second of it. Also, congrats to Italia, for advancing to the final four. Forza Italia!! We'll be watching on pins and needles Tues.
